Located at 100-225 State Park Rd, Mecca, CA 92254 , the park offers camping. You can kayak on Salton Sea if you have your own kayak.
Sonny Bono Salton Sea National Wildlife Refuge

Located at 906 W Sinclair Rd, Calipatria, CA 92233, the refuge offers a mile hike To a dormant volcano to view the vastness of the Salton Sea. It’s a good birding spot.
