THIS YEARS’ FESTIVAL WAS THE MOST SUCCESSFUL TO DATE WITH ABOUT 300 PARTICPANTS COUNTED AT THE SALTON SEA STATE RECREATION AREA AND AGAIN 300 COUTD AT THE SONNY BONO SALTON SEA NATIONAL WILDLIFE REFUGE.

Salton Sea State Recreation Area

Located at 100-225 State Park Rd, Mecca, CA 92254 , the park offers camping. You can kayak on Salton Sea if you have your own kayak.

Sonny Bono Salton Sea National Wildlife Refuge

Located at 906 W Sinclair Rd, Calipatria, CA 92233, the refuge offers a mile hike To a dormant volcano to view the vastness of the Salton Sea. It’s a good birding spot.
